“Pakistani Government Agencies have failed to provide security to Shiites.” – Human Rights Watch
The international organization for Human Rights has said the Pakistani Government, Army and Secret Agencies have failed to stop the continuous violations of Human Rights in the country. This attitude of the Army and Security Agencies has led to the extremists targeting Shiite Muslims in the country.
In the lastest ‘World Report 2013′, the organization claimed the mass killings of Shiite Muslims in Pakistan in 2012 has further desecrated the Human Rights in the country.
The Organization’s director to Pakistan, Ali Dayan Hasan, said extremists targeted Shiite Muslims in Pakistan while the Taliban targeted schools and school students.
The Human Rights Watch claimed there was an obvious increase in violence on religious-basis in 2012.
According to the Organization, around 400 Shiites were killed on religious-basis in the past year of which 125 were killed in Balochistan.
The Organization encouraged the Pakistani Government and State Governments to arrest and try the people involved in Shiite Genocide.
