Senior Pakistani Religious Leader: Ayatollah Khamenei, spiritual guide of Muslim Ummah
Pakistani religious leader, Allama Sajid Naqvi, said here Friday Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khameneˈie is spiritual guide of Muslim Ummah and has rightly pointed out challenges to Muslim world in his meeting with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari.
(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) – The Pakistani chief of Shia Ulema Council, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi said that the Supreme Leader’s remarks are very significant for the Muslims and President Asif Ali Zardari must form a concrete strategy for preservation of national unity in Pakistan.
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khameneˈie in his meeting with President Zardari highlighted the need to counter those acting against national unity in Pakistan.
Sajid Ali Naqvi agreed with the remarks of Supreme Leader adding that President Zardari must give a serious thought to the advice of Iranian spiritual leader.
“Supreme Leader has pint pointed the problems of the Muslim Ummah,” he said. The religious Leader said that it is very important that Supreme Leader has drawn the attention of a president towards the challenges to Muslims.
ˈMany problems facing Muslim Ummah are artificial and caused by the enemies of Islam. Reviving human, natural, and geographical talents of the world of Islam would be effective in tackling such problemsˈ said the Supreme Leader.
Ayatollah Khamenei said promotion of relations among Muslim states is the second key factor for settlement of problems facing Muslim nations.
Sajid Ali Naqvi said that Supreme Leader is the true guide for the Muslim world. “He wants to see a stable Muslim world which is not possible without the unity of Ummah,”he viewed.
He said that there are elements in Pakistan which are using the religious titles to kill innocent Muslims in the country. The religious leader went on to say that establishing the writ is the responsibility of the government.
Naqavi was of the opinion that Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project would benefit the whole region. He appreciated the assistance of Iran in completing the project. “Iran is helping us to overcome our energy woes,” he said. Sajid Ali Naqvi added that Iran is also ready to provide us easy loan for the project.
He said that the project is of extreme importance for Pakistan because it would also bring economic stability in Pakistan. “The project would change the scenario of the region,” he said.
Chief of Shiˈa Ulema Council went on to say that conspiracies against the project have failed. He warned that western elements would continue their efforts against the project all the same. Naqavi added that Iran and Pakistan are committed to complete the project which is a positive sign. “Western elements cannot to affect the project,” he viewed.
