Anniversary of Allama Arif Hussaini’s martyrdom being observed across Pakistan
25th anniversary of Allama Arif Hussaini’s martyrdom is being observed across Pakistan on Monday.
Allama Arif Hussain was a great leader of Shia Muslims of Pakistan and he was also a representative of Islamic Jurisprudent and source of emulation Imam Khomeini in Pakistan. He was elected head of the then sole representative mainstream Shia party Tehrik-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafaria (TJP) that was renamed as Tehrik-e-Jafaria Pakistan.
He embraced martyrdom on August 5, 1988 in Peshawar where the stooges of the U.S. and Israel ambushed him in his religious seminary at Fajr time.
Congregations, condolence meetings and quran khwani are being held in almost all nook and crannies of Pakistan to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary.
Reports had it that Majlis were held in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, Parachinar, Gilgit Baltistan, Multan, Muzaffar Garh, Rahim Yar Khan, Layyah, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Veharhi, Jehlum, Thatta, Badin, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Nawabshah, Sanghar, Dadu, Larkana, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, and in other towns and cities.
The speakers who spoke at the majalis highlighted the salient features of Allama Arif Hussain’s holy life and his mission. They appreciated him and declared he was great martyr from Pakistan.
