Sunni Muslims dissociate from fanatic Deobandis’ anti-Islam protest on Friday
Sunni Muslims rejected the protest of pro-banned terrorist outfit’s protest that was called for defending the blasphemers of Masjid-e-Zarrar Rawalpindi on Friday.
Eminent scholars of Sunnis said that Sunni Muslims have nothing to do with the call of protest by Deobandis. They urged the Sunni Muslims to reject the riots and violence being advocated by the fanatic Deobandis in the name of protest. Sunni Muslims observed Friday as a day of peace while Shiites emphasized on greatness and dignity of Imam Hussain (AS) to promote peace in what appeared a united stance against the anti-Ahl-e-Bait (AS) blasphemous viewpoint of the defenders of the Masjid-e-Zarrar.
Maulana Raghib Naeemi, son of martyr Mufti Sarfaraz Naeemi who was eliminated in a terrorist attack by Yazidi nasbi takfiri terrorists, appealed to the followers to reject the day of protest.
He said that Ashura and Eid Milad ul Nabi (PBUH)’s procession were centuries old tradition of Islamic Ummah and they couldn’t be banned. This stance of an eminent Sunni scholar reflected the religious sentiments of the vast majority of Pakistani nation and isolated the fanatic Deobandis who are demanding ban on these two processions.
He said that the banned/outlawed outfit is a new phenomenon and their unjust and anti-Islam demand and violent reaction to the legitimate processions of Islamic Ummah stand rejected by all.
Pakistan Sunni Tehrik’s Maulana Mujahid Abdul Rasool Qadri, Allama Raza-e-Mustafa Naqshbandi of Tahafuz-e-Namoos-e-Risalat Mahaz, Allama Ghulam Mohammad Sayalvi of Tanzeem ul Madaris-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, Mohammad Haseeb Qadri of Sunni Ittehad Council and Maulana Mohammad Azam Naeemi of Muhafizan-e-Khatm-e-Nubuwwat, and other eminent Sunni scholars endorsed this viewpoint of Maulana Naeemi.
On the other hand, Allama Haider Alvi, another noted Sunni leader, expressed solidarity with Shia Muslims and said that those impersonating them as Ahl-e-Sunnat are not part of Ahl-e-Sunnat (Sunnis) but they are an isolated group of rioters and violent miscreants. He said that Sunni and Shiites observed Friday as a day of peace.
