Twin blasts rock Shia neighborhood in Karachi; 7 martyred, 30 injured

Twin blasts rock Shia neighborhood in Karachi; 7 martyred, 30 injured
At least 5 Shia Muslims amd 2 Sunni Muslims have been martyred and as many as 30 were injured including a minor girl in two successive explosions by Takfiri Deobandi terrorists of Sipah-e-Sahaba and Lashkar-e-Jhagvi that took place in Ancholi, located in Federal ‘B’ Area of Karachi late on Friday late night, The Shia Post reported.

It was a targeted attack on Shia Muslims, a ‘Majlis-e-Aza’ had just ended when back to back blasts occurred.

Both Shias and Sunnis are among the injured people. The rescue workers have shifted the victims to Abbasi Shaheed hospitals for treatment. Police and reangers reached after 20 minutes of the blast.

The nature of the blasts is not yet known though the intensity of the blasts is said to be high since it could be heard for miles around.

The blasts could be heard even at a distance of 15km-20km. Residents in North Nazimabad and Gulshan-e-Iqbal have reported they heard the explosions.

The area is a Shia residential one and the explosions spread a wave of panic in the area.

Shia Ulema Council has announces 3-day mourning.

All Shia parties and organizations have announced Saturday as day of mourn in Pakistan.

Pro-Taliban terrorist have killed thousands of Shia Muslims in Pakistan but government, law enforcement agencies, judiciary and police have failed to protect its citizens across the country and no one has taken a single step to stop onging Shia Genocide in Pakistan.
