MWM rejects talks with TTP saying terrorists given another chance
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has rejected the government’s policy of talks with the outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) saying the talks are against the Islamic laws (Shariah).

“4-members committee or suchlike other policies show the weakness of the State. It is not peace but the terrorists who are being given another chance to continue. This policy will make entire Pakistan as safe-haven for the ferocious terrorists,” said Allama Amin Shaheedi, deputy secretary general of the MWM at a press conference here on Wednesday.

He said that outlawed Taliban terrorists are the killers of thousands of innocent people including Muslims and Islamic laws required the government to punish the terrorists instead of appeasing them through talks

But, he was confident that the MWM’s’ position would be vindicated soon because military operation is the only viable option to rid Pakistan of terrorists.

“Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s announcement of talks disappointed millions of Pakistanis because they were expecting a right decision at this crucial juncture,” he said.

He said that PMLN government’s policy of talks with the notorious blood-thirsty terrorists of the Taliban was tantamount to betray those over 50,000 Pakistanis and 8,000 security officials who sacrificed their lives but did not bow to the TTP.

He said that the Prime Minister didn’t mention thousands of Shia martyrs who the TTP and their affiliated terrorist groups massacred because of the Taliban’s ideology of hate, terror and fanaticism.

“The government is well aware of the fact that Pakistani Muslims irrespective of their sectarian affiliations turn down Taliban’s self-practiced Islam because no Muslim believes in the use of anti-Islam practices that are being practiced in the name of Islam by the Taliban,” he said.
